Quality Assurance

The CalCERTS Quality Assurance program was created with the support and guidance of the California Energy Commission. CalCERTS strongly believes that Quality Assurance Field Reviews are a crucial component of oversight in the 3rd party inspection industry. QA Reviews serve to further educate the energy code enforcement community and maintain the integrity of the program.

The primary purpose of a HERS Provider is to train and track the quality of a HERS Raters’ work. The active oversight of HERS Raters is the basis on which the program stands.
